Droids n Roids

A simple system designed in one night after binge reading the Murderbot Diaries.

Play as a squad of genetically and mechanically enhanced cyborgs travelling the vast reaches of space solving problems that no one else wants to or is able to handle.

Designed for one GM and however many players you can scrape together. Built for one-shot play, but compatible with "campaign" style play, although more monster-of-the-week than sprawling D&D campaign.

I playtested it with one player, and with 4, and both were great fun for everyone involved (or so I'm told). Did not playtest campaign play, but given how the game works it'd be very easy to just be the same guy again idk.

Very rules light, no prep required, just roll up a scenario and dive in!

I've also included a GM doc, this is just what I used to run the few games I played of it, it references Cosmic Encounter (the greatest board game of all time) for the alien descriptions, they have a wide variety of freaky looking lil guys that I think do a good job of showing how unlike humans they should be.
